/kipur/ In video games, «clipping» occurs when a character or object passes through a solid surface, like walls or floors, due to rendering limitations. It's often seen as a glitch or an error but can sometimes be intentional to allow movement through the game environment.
In honor of Earth Day, MERDE Magazine presents a visual editorial that reimagines fashion as a form of beauty, resistance, and storytelling. Through texture, decay, growth, and rebirth, we reflect on our relationship to the natural world—not as something to be preserved in stasis, but as a living force that demands reciprocity. This editorial is an ode to materials that have lived many lives, to creatives who practice with intention, and to the earth itself—our oldest collaborator.
