CP: Tell me about your name, Lovefoxy?
LF: People always expect a super deep super funky story (or not lol) but its really only silly. When me and my friends were 14 we all got into the Instagram game. I really wanted to be Foxy Love - but that was already taken so i went with Lovefoxy. I grew into the name personally and professionally and voila here is DJ Lovefoxy.
CP: You’ve been DJing for x years, what got you into it?
LF: I have been DJ’ing now for 2 Years and its been a mega ride, i got into it because i love House music and have been given the mega vinyl collection of my mom who also graced Berlins Party Scene in the 80’s and 90’s in Berlin.
CP: I hear a lot of House music in your sets. Would you describe yourself as a house dj?
LF: I think that could be limiting as genre bending is fun and as an artist you try to be ever evolving but yes, predomanently
CP: What’s the best part about being a dj?
LF: The Energy
CP: What’s your favourite gig or show you ever played.
LF: Oh thats tricky, there were so many. From insane crowds in Madrid to small all nighters in Amsterdam i enjoy them all. I recently crowd surfed tho, that was a first and freaky fun.
CP: I heard you always DJ in heels, fact or fiction?
LF: Fact and i am doing that until my knees won’t take it no more.
CP: Lovefoxy outfits are known for their celebration of femininity and sexuality. How would you describe your style?
LF: Hmmm, like that? :) I do and celebrate however i feel like that day. Most of the times it is a celebration of being able to do whatever i want as a female identifying individual in this life on this planet
CP: Is Lovefoxy’s style any different than the everyday Fania look?
LF: Lovefoxy is Fania and Fania is Lovefoxy, it might be heightened at times but it’s the same.
CP: What are your favourite Berlin brands?
LF: I vibe with my up and coming angels- like Clara Colette Miramon for example. We know eachother since ages and she even lets me create with her a little when we come up with another outfit for me.
CP: What inspires you?
LF: My Mom and witty, emotional intelligent peeps.
CP: Any latest obsessions?
LF: I wanna try a Chamoy pickle with all that sauce and freak ingredients you see on Tik Tok - obsession status pending.
CP: What can we expect from Lovefoxy in the future?
LF: The above times ten
