Fresh off the release of her latest single Never Better, Nastiya Kai is stepping into something new. Her upcoming EP—out April 28th—swaps out the sharp edges of her ‘Demon Era’ for something quieter, but no less intense. The synth-drenched collection signals a bold shift into a lighter, more introspective avant-garde pop sound colliding with ambient noise and glitch.

“Never Better’ was a turning point for me. It taught me how to tell stories through sound and lyrics alone, to channel emotions I couldn’t even name. I used to write songs in fragments—voice notes, piano loops, half-finished thoughts—but this track helped me piece them together into something whole. It opened up a new genre for me, one that feels more honest and experimental. It’s not just a song—it’s a bridge into my next era, one where I feel more at peace with myself, musically and spiritually.” - Nastiya Kai

With new space cracked wide open after ‘Never Better’’s release, Nastiya relays she’s ‘got a lot more on the way— It taught me how to express everything I couldn’t say out loud—just through sound and lyrics. It opened this new space for me creatively and emotionally, and honestly felt like the start of a new chapter.”

April 28th will only further unlock Nastiya’s moody, emotionally raw, and hypnotic sound—impossible to pin down, and even harder to pause once you hit play.
