Where are some of your favorite places to shop for indie brands and/or preloved pieces in NYC?
PAIGE: In NYC I love visiting James Veloria, Treasures of NYC, and FunnyPrettyNice - love the girls there & doing pop ups with them!
Who are a few indie designers you’re inspired by?
PAIGE: I’m loving how so many emerging brands have loud personalities & feel so alive, fashion is supposed to be fun! Some of my faves right now are Kim Shui, Double Standard NYC, Charlotte Simone, Yvmin, knwlslondon… the list goes on
Any trends, colors, styles you’re excited to see coming to life?
PAIGE: I’m so happy to see more capes & I hope that continues, so chic. I love seeing more and more aquatic inspired clothes & accessories, it will be fun to lean into that this spring / summer. And for the record, leopard is a neutral.
Do you have a trick or two that help you stay sustainable when shopping / evolving your personal style as a human and also as an emerging designer?
PAIGE: As a designer I make it a priority to do made-to-order manufacturing for my website & store orders to minimize waste, I’ve also used scraps of fabric from certain styles to make different accessories & bikinis. That same mindset carries into my personal wardrobe - I invest in pieces I truly love and will wear for years, mix vintage with contemporary & even rework garments to give them new life. And as always, shopping with local and sustainable brands, duh!
Fave spots to grab a bite and people-watch in NYC?
PAIGE: I love to get a drink at Bemelmans bar when there's a jazz band & daydream
What’s in your bag? Can’t not ask!
PAIGE: I’m changing bags and purses quite often but you can always find multiple lip glosses, mini perfumes, a Sunset Tower hotel pen, headphones, XL square framed sunglasses, & a pair of silver earrings
What are you obsessed with right now?
PAIGE: Hello Kitty, Happy 50th birthday icon!
